Patterson PENDING!Patterson is an adorable, lap-sized basset hound gal. She weighs just 32 pounds and is as sweet and humble as a puppy. Patterson was rescued when the ASPCA raided a Mississippi puppy mill in late October. Patterson was one of three dogs who survived the cruel conditions there. Four other bassets had starved to death. Patterson is timid and doesn't like loud noises. Patterson does like snuggling in bed with her foster mom, playing with the children in her foster home and she likes playing with the other dogs in her foster home. And oh, does Patterson love to eat. All those days without meals left her with a love of food. She has an appetite like a Hobbitt. Amazingly, Patterson is trusting, gentle and loyal. After all that abuse and neglect, she still believes people are basically good. If you want a little basset with a huge heart, fill out an adoption form right now at our web site.
